Common white flowering dogwood native to eastern United States. Horizontal branching habit with twisted, curled mid-green foliage. Inconspicuous flowers with showy white bracts followed by clusters of small red fruit in late summer to late fall. Does best in partial to high shade.

Wide, multi-stemmed, vase shaped tree. Dense horizontal branching habit. Medium green leaves turn yellow and scarlet in fall. Creamy white bracts with pink along the margins surround small inconspicuous flower clusters. Red fleshy strawberry-like fruit in October. Also lends itself to a single stem tree form.
